Meet The Docs: Dr. Shane R. Bryant
Dr. Shane Bryant joined North Deering Dental Associates in 2006. A
Maine native, he was born in Lewiston and lived in Livermore. He
graduated from Wheaton College in Norton, MA in 1992 and performed
medical research at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Mechanisms of
Bone Growth-Orthopedic Research.
In 1995 he returned to Maine to work at the Maine Medical Center Research Institute, in Vascular Biology and Oncology Research while pursuing graduate work at the University of Maine where he received a Masters Degree in Immunology and Molecular Biology. Dr Bryant graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2005 and completed a Residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, CT.
Dr. Bryant is a member of:

- The Greater Portland Dental Society
- The Maine Dental Association
Dr. Shane Bryant has worked with patients with special needs, provided dentistry for community outreach programs, and volunteered with Special Olympics. He is an avid gardener, builds his own tube based hi-fi equipment and enjoys fishing and listening to records with his wife Jill and two daughters.
